Here, at ESB Flooring we are flooring gurus. Our job is to make purchase process fun and easy. And we are very good at what we do. Today we are with Patricia, Sales Consultant at ESB Flooring and she’s going to walk us through a typical flooring shop visit.

Patricia: The first thing people need to know is that installing your new floor should be fun and easy and we are here to help you at every stage of your project.

Tom: Is there anything specific that I should bring with me to your London Showroom on my first visit?

Patricia: Not necessarily, but if you feel ambitious you can bring the sketch of the room showing any doors or windows – this might help us. You can also bring anything you love and feel comfortable with in the room, any fabric swatches, pillow. Maybe you can bring magazine when you’ve seen a location which inspired you.

Tom: Lets’ pretend that I’m your typical store customer and I’m showing up for the first time. Can you walk me through of what typical shop visit might be like?

Patricia: First I would start with asking you few questions:

– What kind of lifestyle you live – do you have children, pets.

– Is there a high traffic area?

– Will it be getting wet very often?

– I will ask about light sources in your room.

Tom: Is lighting so important?

Patricia: It is very important. The light sources are going to reflect the colour and style that come up from the floor covering. The same floor might look totally different in different light. Floor can look little bit darker if you do not have great lighting, but in sunny rooms will look definitely brighter.

Tom: There are so many different wood flooring options to choose from and I’m not sure what to choose. What can I do?
